The recommended way to use Hydrolix on Amazon EKS is to sign up for the Hydrolix managed service. It provides automatic configuration, managed hosting, pre-configured dashboards, and a web-based control console.

Self-Managed

If you need to set up and manage your own Hydrolix instance on Amazon EKS, complete the following steps:

1. Prepare a Cluster

2. Deploy Hydrolix

3. Add Cluster Admins

4. Deploy an External PostgreSQL Instance

AWS Fargate

Hydrolix does not support AWS Fargate environments. Hydrolix requires high performance EBS storage for stateful infrastructure components.
