Active Queries

Hydrolix maintains a system table storing query information for the last 5 minutes. Query it in the project hdx like any other table.

Example:

  active,

  (query_end - query_start) AS query_duration
FROM hdx.active_queries
ORDER BY query_start DESC

Columns available in hdx.active_queries:

Column	Description
query_start	timestamp query received
query_end	timestamp query responded
query	body of the query
user	user placing the query request
comment	text provided by the hdx_query_comment
admin_comment	text provided by the hdx_query_admin_comment
active	boolean for if the query running or not
hydrolix_version	Hydrolix version active when query was received
turbine_revision	Turbine revision active when query was received

Common uses are to add the name of the user running the query or indicate a scheduled query for some particular reason.
