How it works⚓︎
Hydrolix uses your data sources and object storage in your cloud account to give you control over resource use. Hydrolix handles the rest on Hydrolix-managed services, providing dashboards with information about your services.
Hydrolix has a flexible architecture, allowing cloud storage, data processing, storage in many different configurations. Here's one typical setup, using customer data sources and cloud storage while using shared resources owned and maintained by Hydrolix.
Logs are sent via Kinesis, Data Firehose, HTTP streaming API, or cloud storage auto-ingest to Hydrolix. After processing, indexing, and compression, the log data is written in Hydrolix format to cloud storage in your cloud provider account. Later, the Hydrolix query engine uses that data to serve queries that power Grafana dashboards and alerts. Other query and visualization options are available, too.
