char

char converts a list of decimal encoded ASCII characters to a string.

Parameters:

  • number — ASCII charcter as either an Integer or Float

Usage:

  • char(number1, number2, number3, ...)

Returns:

  • String

hex

hex returns a string containing hexadecimal representation of argument.

Parameters:

  • arg — value to convert to hexadecimal, can be : String, UInt, Float, Decimal, Date or DateTime.

Usage:

  • hex(arg)

Returns:

  • String

unhex

unhex converts a string containing any number of hexadecimal digits, and returns a string containing the corresponding bytes. Supports both uppercase and lowercase letters A-F.

If you want to convert the result to a number, you can use the reverse and reinterpretAsType functions.

Parameters:

  • string — hex string containing any number of digits.

Usage:

  • unhex(string)

Returns:

  • String - corresponding to converted bytes

bitmaskToList

bitmaskToList returns a string containing the list of powers of two that total the source number when summed.

Parameters:

  • number — integer

Usage:

  • bitmaskToList(number)

Returns:

  • String - comman separated lists of powers of 2.

bitmaskToArray

bitmaskToArray is the same as bitmaskToList except that it returns an array containing the list of powers of two that total the source number when summed.

Parameters:

  • number — integer to calculate

Usage:

  • bitmaskToArray(number)

Returns:

  • UInt8 array - contiaining list of powers of two.
